soy candles

Eager to avoid the obvious topic and steer us all into something positive, we’re going to talk about all the lovely first signs of Spring we’ve spotted recently, a few brave daffodils and crocuses poking their heads out wondering if it is time to make an appearance.

As thoughts do turn to Spring and the days are slowly getting longer, we’ve been thinking about all the lovely new products we’ve got planned. Fingers crossed, we’ll be introducing you to them in the shop soon but for now as lockdown continues, the website is our stage.

Our spotlight this week is on a rather lovely new Soy Candle Range, hand poured locally for us by Pure Cariad, who are based just a few miles away from Chichester. We’re so excited for these beautifully scented candles for many reasons, they are refillable, they have wooden wicks and the aromas are long lasting.

A personal favourite is Focus which uses Grapefruit & Bergamot oils, simply light before tackling your inbox. Lovely stuff.

Over on our blog we’ve also got a Q&A with the lovely Nic, the face behind Pure Cariad to help show you a little more about the process and her inspiration for new aromas.

This is something we want to do more of as the past year has truly demonstrated that you lot are interested in the stories and reasons behind the products we stock as well as championing the handmade and the independent.
