Join Miesje and learn the art of chicken scratch embroidery - a beautiful hand stitched technique used to embellish gingham fabric. 

From our series of Goodwood Revival ‘Revive & Thrive’ pop-up workshops, it is a perfect way to experience a taster of Miesje’s Goodwood Revival class in advance of the event in September! 

You will learn the basic stitches then use these to complete a sampler. Suitable for beginners and perfect for those looking to expand their range of embroidery techniques. 

  • Workshop starts at 2.30pm and runs for approximately 2 hours
  • No sewing experience required.
  • Class size: 7
  • Materials & refreshments provided

Workshop takes place at our studio: 2a Crane St in Chichester, just round the corner from our shop. Wheelchair accessible.

About Miesje

Miesje Chafer is a designer and maker based in Southsea. In addition to designing fabric and creating a range of different products from these, she also loves exploring various hand stitching techniques including embroidery, beading, patchwork and needlepoint. She loves colour and pattern and tries to incorporate this into pretty much everything she does!
